Froggie's Swim Shorts
A tiny pair of shorts to dress up your Leggy Froggie

Give your Baby Leggy Froggie something to wear to the lake! These little swim shorts are a quick, made-to-measure accessory — worked in a ring around your frog's waist, then given two leg holes. Sized to fit whatever frog you've made, so there's no fussy gauge to match.

The pattern
No set gauge — you size the shorts to your own frog's waistline as you go.
- Abbreviations: CH = chain · SC = single crochet · HDC = half double crochet · DC = double crochet · SL ST = slip stitch · ST = stitch · F.O. = fasten off.
- R1CH the circumference of your frog's waistline, then join with a SL ST to make a ring.
- R2DC in each CH stitch around.
- R3HDC around, then F.O. at the end.
- R4Attach a slipknot to the shorts where you want the first leg hole. CH 2 or 3 (however wide you want the gap), then SL ST at the end. SC back across your chain, then SL ST again — repeat until you have even leg gaps. F.O.
- R5Attach a slipknot to one of the leg gaps, DC around, then F.O. Repeat for the other leg.
- FinishWeave in your ends — ta da! Your froggie has swim shorts. Time to hit the lake!
